This whirlwind past week has felt like finals period, graduation week, and a marriage all happening at once - and Alhamdullilah for all of it. And, we are, still, only just getting started. We, a scrappy group of presumptuous kids with an affinity for coloring outside the lines, did it. This is so far beyond what I ever dreamt for us - and I owe thanks to countless people who have been a part of this journey with me - to anyone who has ever said "yes" when they weren't really sure what they were getting themselves into, to anyone who has ever believed in us even when we didn't believe in ourselves, to anyone who has ever worked for/with/alongside us, to anyone who has showed us kindness in any way. I started this company when I was a junior in high school - and right now, eight years of memories (highs as well as loWe are going to continue to ensure our clients receive that excellence from us, and our magic is only going to be enriched by UTA's platform - and we will, of course, be carrying forward our big plans for ZCON, for the future of community-first business. It was so important to us to arrive at a deal that benefited our community as much as possible, that allowed us to scale our work as meaningfully as possible - and we are proud to have done just that. Julian Jacobs and David Anderson, thank you for sharing that conviction, for inviting our dynamic team to sit at your table, hope y'all are as excited as I am for you to be my first bosses ever as your Head of Next Gen. It has always been my theory of change that the world looks better when diverse young voices have a seat at the table - and UTA is truly one of the impactful tables in the world, sitting squarely at the epicenter of culture. I'm experiencing emotions that I didn't know existed - and for someone who talks for a living, it feels seemingly impossible to put into words what this milestone means to me.Īs of today, JUV Consulting has officially been acquired by United Talent Agency - forming the Next Gen Practice of UTA Marketing. I'm not a crier, but I'm in a random WeWork in Chicago right now on the verge of sobbing. I can't believe I'm actually typing this, but we did it - by the grace of God, we really freaking did it.
